Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a 2018 remaster of the first three Spyro games: Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.
The games were originally released for the PlayStation in 1998, 1999, and 2000, respectively. The Reignited Trilogy was developed by Toys for Bob and published by Activision. It was released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in November 2018.
The trilogy features completely remastered graphics, gameplay, and audio. The game's soundtrack was also re-recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy was a critical and commercial success, receiving praise for its visuals, gameplay, and faithfulness to the original games. It was also a commercial success, selling over 5 million copies as of March 2019.
