Set in 2009, four years after the events of Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5 follows Chris Redfield, now a member of the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA), and his new partner Sheva Alomar as they are sent to investigate a bio-terrorist threat in Kijuju, a fictional region in Africa.
